To presidents of all ACSSNL branches,
Groningen, Enschede and Utrecht branches appreciate your effort in supporting our badminton competition on Feb. 22. 2009. So far, we have got ten teams: Delft, Amsterdam, Rotterdam, Enschede, Groningen, Wageningen, Leiden, Den Haag & Nijmegen United, Eindhoven & Utrecht United, Tilburg & Deventer United. Based on the number of the participants, you are hereby required to deliver the detailed schedule and rules to your badminton teams and forward the invitation to members of your branches.

Feb. 22, 2009 Schedule
1.Time
10:30-18:00, Feb. 22, 2009 (Sunday)
1.1 10:00-10:30 Registration, Warming-up, (Please be on time)
1.2 10:30-10:45 Opening ceremony & Lotting
1.3 10:45-11:00 Umpires get ready; All teams are led to their halls
1.4 11:00-16:00 Tournament**
1.5 16:00-16:30 VIPShow Game
1.6 16:30-17:30 Final+Bronze***
1.7 17:30-18:00 Prize Time+Closing Ceremony
*Rules for Lotting,
? The four seeds (Delft, Amsterdam, Rotterdam, Enschede) will be distributed into two halls. The first seed will be paired with either the third or the fourth seed. The lotting will be conducted by the representatives from the embassy and ACSSNL.
? Due to the organization issues, Enschede and Groningen teams will be assigned into different halls.
? The second round of lotting will generate the individual team number and all the rest team will be lotted to their halls.
? Example:
If the champion team, Delft, is lotted to hall A, then Amsterdam will be in hall B. Then Delft is assigned by lotting with a number 5. It indicates that Delft is coined as A5 and should follow the progress of A5 during the match.
** Rules for Tournament:
There will be five matches between every two teams: Male Single, Female Single, Male Double, Female Double, and Mixed Double. It will follow the 3+2 modul, that is, female single, male single and mixed double will be held simultaneously. Each match will be 21 scored, two out three. Each match will be confined within 30 minutes. In the last five minute, the umpire will give an oral hint. In the case the match doesn’t end, we will follow the rules below:
? In case it is the third round, let it end.?
? In case it is the second round, let it end. If both teams have got one point, then weigh their individual scores. If the same, then the lotting will be run.
? There will be an umpire at each court managing time and scoring. The coordinator of each hall will collect the final scores of each match and deliver to the info desk.

***Final + Bronze Match
The final and bronze matches will be held in Hall A. The final will be between the top of Hall A and Hall B. The bronze match will be between the second top of Hall A and Hall B.

There will be Hall A and Hall B; each has 7 courts, which means, four teams can get involved in matches at the same time. One will be left for warming up.
Teams in Hall A will be coined as A1,A2, A3, A4, A5
Teams in Hall B will be coined as B1, B2,B3, B4, B5

3.Dinner: The dinner will be held in the Chinese restaurant Wok de Mallejan, http://www.mallejan.nl/. The WOK costs 24 euro p.p, including the shuttles between sport center and restaurant and the station. Please prepare the cash and give them to the organizing committee on Feb. 22.
The departure time of the shuttles from the sport center will be: 18:15 and 18:30.
